John, thanks for the ride. After a few pulls in your car the ride in the 500+HP blower car was a joke. Your car seemed like it had DOUBLE the power not just another couple hundred HP. There was NO comparison. I thought I might be satisfied with only 500HP. Never! no way. It is s shame the cost is MORE than the cost of the purchase price of the donor car. But thats the way things go. I will be welding on fender flares for sure and going 335 rear and 275 up front in 18 inch. Traction was a huge issue on “tiny” 275 rears even on the Hoosier slicks!
It will be quite some time yet for me to get things together for the build. I will just have to be patient. The stage 2.5 may be an option, but most likely not. I have yet to ride in Frank’s car since his Vanos was on the fritz.

Great job!!
I own 330 which I would like to make little quicker with a turbo setup too.
Love the work on yours!
You didnt left any things behind , like strengthening the rear mounts etc.

Been following this build along with the ongoing life of the first HPF 2.5 build. Just thought I’d mention that the latter has just replaced his oil cooler with a unit from a very unlikely source (NASCAR) that is proving to be a very nice piece for comparatively cheap. Yes we will be adding more very soon, The upcoming updates will have a lot more of the “candy” of the build. You know, the shiny parts.
